gah.... any time the ad copy includes: vespa means wasp in Italian, classic, Piaggio, made in Italy, hard to find, fuel efficient, manual transmission, collectible or original only xxxx miles you know that they're peddling bullshittery.

Yes. It looks like they replaced the mudguard with a straight one but didn't bother to straighten the fork. The excessive distance between the front edge of the mudguard and the tire is fairly apparent.

First I have a running scooter and motorcycle.

I would be taking seller to see a local lawyer to witness deal and get a valid bill of sale. I would definitely use a cashiers check at an FDIC insured bank just to be able to raise a stink with FBI if I get sold a stolen vehicle. VIN who knows, depends where they we're located on these, seller may not know where it is.

After all the above, you can bond a vehicle in Minnesota and get a title. Not expensive to do on those in current state as value isn't high, few hundred dollars maybe for a bond.

Don't tempt me Scott! I think my Uncle has a farm not too far away from those cars....maybe less than 200 miles? He also makes the drive to Oregon once in a while. My only hold up is that i'd probably try to stuff a P200 engine in it...one at each corner.

I need to knock some projects out before i die. I'd hate to burden someone with all of my junk.

Looks like someone put an LML motor in it at some point, so the lump might not be a total write off. A ticket for that lottery plus a helmet bag isn't worth anywhere near $1200, though.
