Not sure that one is a bodge. Usually they convert to 10 inch rims. The white center stand boots and trim is bad though.

Bodged up for sure - where exactly, I don't know. It may have happened here in which case there may be a decent scoot under the chrome bits, the 10 inch wheels and the front box. But at $3900? Not worth the the money, time or effort to find out.

84 miles, hmm... so about 115 left in her. sounds like a reasonable mileage per $ investment.

the 63 from that collection is equally as disgusting.

the Lambretta is ghastly.

but there's cool shit like that Gogo and the Allstate twingle. and the GT185 and some pre war bikes...

and that diesel KLR. hell yeah.

I'm betting ALL the bikes aren't as cream puff as they are made out to be. like I see crap like that and to me everything else is immediately suspect.

I've worked on my fair share of hotrods and muscle cars from auction and boy howdy could some of 'em give the SEA boys a run for their money!

I'd go "most" are not as creampuff...too much money to be made when you think it's never going to be ridden, just left to sit somewhere and gather dust. That "Sprint" doesn't even have a bellows on the airbox.

I wouldn't be surprised if the kickstart hadn't failed and been welded back after it joined the collection. It's so out of place otherwise.

I get videos from my youtube feed of a guy who's a hotrod/muscle car restorer and he does bodge videos. They're straight up Vespa Wizard bad and seem to be painfully common.

And why a side stand you'll never use w/ a sidecar?
