vespa.restorer out of Pasadena has a lot of ebay ads lately. Makes it harder to tell. Too much verbiage.

its up somewhere in your neck of the woods.....rent it for the weekend of Amerivespa...
truck it down for obvious safety reasons, unload around the corner where no one can see, then ride up all ace-face. borrow the legendary white desert boots, some skinny jeans, a fred perry with nutty boy suspenders and you are set to hang with the cool kids. Imagine the looks and crowd response....that would be classic! |

This guy has been trying to pawn this bike off on someone for years, it always pops up on CL from time to time. I love that seller says "I hate to use the word 'perfect' but that's how I see its condition.", then immediately states "I can get it up around 45mph."

Clearly lying or...?
http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/mcy/3838896695.html Quote: WHOEVER KEEPS FLAGGING MY ADD, PLEASE STOP, THIS IS A LEGITIMATE PRIVATE PARTY ADD, FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME. Decided to part with my Classic 1966 Vespa VBC Super 150. This is not a Vietnamese Vespa. Came out of Oregon stored in a barn. Brought back to life by a grandpa wanting to make his granddaughter happy as she went off to college. Turns out she liked electric start and some metal around her more. It is a older restore, gets attention and looks everywhere it goes. When I purchased, it was bare bones, I added the extra's to spruce it up more to my liking. I ride it often in fair weather. Runs great, shifts and rides as it should. Motor has been gone through and electrical updated, all lights, horn, kill switch etc work as they should.. I upsized to the 10" wheels for better stability, whitewalls are near new. Replaced all brake and shifter cables. I went with the stainless light series front and rear racks, as well as the crash bars to avoid any rust in the future. There are several aftermarket dress up items added to the scoot. I also licensed with collector plate so no future tab fees. I don't see many in this condition original matching numbers, still cruising around on a daily basis. ![]() |

I read that ad earlier... I don't believe him. Too many signs of being a Bodge... especially him converting it to 10" tires.

All original metal panels have been thrown away (due to rust) then have all been replaced with fibre glass panels, which have then been sprayed with Amorite by my grandson. ![]() ![]() http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281116772586 |
