Jeebus that's a headlight.

Odd question because I've been drinking and watching hockey. Does anyone else think the bajaj volcano speedo/headset is really aestheticly pleasing? Really, its a good looking headset.

We have to remember that to someone who is new to these bikes, shiny bodges can be pretty appealing. It's like that person who is really hot, but once you get to know them and realize they are dumb as shit, always borrowing money, and have a nasty case of the clap, they are not so hot any more. And then you're friend comes to town and is all hook me up with them, and you are like NOOOOOOO!

We agree. Seeing friends trying to hook up with Lindsey Lohan types may send us into random baby punching fits.

Ain't nothing "really hot" about that bike.

At my local scooter shop (Dick and Jeff) ... found them working on a this lovely classic vintage rare Italian vespa... Dick told me that the owner bought it for more than $4000 and now had to replace the motor with a Stella 150cc that he got for $1200... Dick told him that it was still not safe. Man I wish I had 5000 dollars... probably buy 2 rat old rusty vespas and some parts Razz emoticon

Well, if you want to test the uninitiated's aversion to bodges, or lack there of, put one of those 2toned cromed out atrocities and an all OG rally 200 in a classic car show and see which one recives more spectator votes.

The light weight curvy trim on the pink one is much nicer than the clunky round crash bars you see more often. That part is pretty sweet.

True that. A few years ago I entered my P200 in the vintage scooter class at a Mods Vs Rockers event. There were 2 bodges entered as well. They got all the attention, photo ops for the girls etc. After seeing all the attention the death traps were receiving, I had enough. I described to their owner exactly what he had after he told me they were for sale. He promptly withdrew from the class and Sweet P won. I certainly didn't make a friend there. When I went for my trophy and made my little speech, I did mention to any potential vintage scooterists in the crowd about what not to look for, further adding a bit of salt to the wound.
