"Very rare"
Thank god for that! At only $12,500, it's a steal.
"turns heads like a ferrari without the headache" Yes, but which direction do they turn? Good old 1965 150 Super VBB, you've got to love them. http://www.bikesales.com.au/private/SSE-AD-3364544/1965%20Vespa%20150%20Super[/img] |

Aren't those the Bajaj delivery model? They had two legshield gloveboxes, front and back, and a cowl glovebox.

Not such a silly idea... Paul McIntosh adds 40kg to the front of the dry lake scooter to help with stability.

I've got to know what they are delivering with the glove boxes on the front of the bike. Thailand, Cambodia or Myanmar?

afraid i have a bodge....
hey all, bought my first vespa from a friend here in thailand ( a guy from the uk). he had this bike for a few years and sold it cause he was leaving. He was been riding vespas for years and said his bike was legit. I believed him and still do, but want to show some pics. I wont post the vin but it is VLB1M (apparently a 65 vespa sprint). It runs great and I have had no issues with is thus far.

Kundy... remember the going price for a bodge is $10 per km (that it has managed to travel)... so your is worth far more than a true bodge.

So it's not a bodge? Looks Italian? Runs through all 4 gears without issues and sounds like a vespa to me
Well, the km tracker doesn't work anymore, though the speedometer works. My concern is that the back says sprint v (sprint veloce) which I believe came out after 1969? But my Vin code indicates mine is a 1965 sprint. I paid $2,000 usd for this. Did I over or under pay? Not entirely what's it's worth? Big noob here! I also do have the legal title book from the government, so it's totally Street legal with tax/Insurance. |

I dont get the concept? Ask questions about it after you bought? you generally ask questions and research first. Did you over pay? Generally .....yes. Especially being that its an unknown what lies beneath the paint and what surprises are inside of the motor. Although ive seen someone here in US pay a little less for a pretty gnarly Italian market Sprint. But that was because general cluelessness and tunnel vision. So, yes - 2k in that market is huge rip. Do a magnet inspection to body looking for bondo. Clean it up and if its running fine ride it. Its yours now! |

Sorry, I did not see where the bike is from... By default & road conditions it would have been "bodged" at some time in its life, it's just the depth that varies
To check, look at the top of the exhaust mount, if its smashed or patched, then it's been "well used" on rough roads... It's a start, but I do agree, it's a bit damn late to check once you have brought... If you lived in America I would guess you drive a Jeep... Great 6-speed gearbox, but what the hell were they thinking with the handling... Did these people never test drive any other vehicle? ⚠️ Last edited by SubEtherBASS on UTC; edited 1 time

Couple of recent re-engined SS180s sold for 4000 - 4500. |

Look out Ohio - Both posted on Craigslist and Scootnet
Gosh - these just don't seem to be right to me, and obviously not "original" as the seller indicates.
