I have spot welds there. Nothing wrong in my opinion other then it being ugly and price is high.

I'd go a step farther. How can it be totally rebuilt yet still original?
Not that I can contribute to the "bodgespotting" aspect of the conversation |

Oh boy, that is one pimped out scooter w/ all the choice bits
Huh, so tempting w/ only 30 km on the odometer! It must be almost like new still. Maybe the owner hardly rode it because he wanted to keep it that way and has priced it accordingly. |

Do all of these bodges turn anyone else off of the 150 Super? It was never my favorite model, and now I just 100% associate it with SEA-BODGE.

Those bodged 60's-era 10" chromed-up, two-toned things from SEA have almost nothing in common with factory original VBC's.
To each their own, but saying bodges turn you off to 150 Supers is kind of like saying cheap motel paintings turn you off to art. |

I love a good VBC/Super. Most, if not all of the SEA bodges are far removed from what a proper Super looks like. Many have VBB body parts, Rally or PX legshield gloveboxes and single seats, and all that poor quality, nasty chrome is very un-Super-like. It was the entry level largeframe in it's day, so had nothing in the way of bling. The later ones didn't even have the alu strips on the panels or mudguard, and most of the UK ones I know have the bench seat, which may have been an optional extra.
