Talk about adding insult to injury.

Well, hey if you're going to try to rip someone off, you might as well swing for the fence.

Too many bodges on eBay UK...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/Vespa-150/9936/bn_7023596958

This one is supposedly a Vespa Douglas but it screams Nammer. Problem is that they've started to get better so the "untrained" victim, will fall for...

Is this a bodge or not?? It was posted on a FB group and apparently I must have hit a nerve, cause the OP apparently was triggered by my comment, made fun of my name and then blocked me. All I did was to point out the Vietnamese accessories on it and that it might be a Viet-Bodge...

The photos were sent to me by a friend cause I can't see the ad anymore...

The ad is on the "Vespa Classic Sales" FB group...

Saw this on display outside a shop called Modfather in Camden Market yesterday.

10" wheels, crappy details, too much gloss on the paint. I just had to shake my head and move on.
10" wheels? I think not.

Classic thick glossy paint, no doubt hiding all manner of 'repaired' body defects. Still, at least it's a retail ornament and not a road going scoot......we hope.

As Alanis once sang, isn't it ironic that Modfather is all about authenticity.

Sadly, it had license plates and a "For Sale" on it, so it might be out there killing some overpaying fool soon enough.

Modfather was fine,. Lots of Fred Perry and high prices. Mostly just short sleeve shirts, which do me no good in London or chicago this time of year.

I don't see anything wrong with that VNB/VBB. Yeah, it's on 10 inch wheels but a lot of legit conversions have been done over the years. It looks to have been done right. For sure, I'd want to check out the fork, check for bondo, and look over the engine. But then I'd do that with any bike.
