Lovely, just freakin' lovely! And amazingly enough, it looks super-fast without being red.

Once you cut the body down to this extreme, aren't you losing some structural strength? Or is all the "extra" sheet metal just for looks or practical purposes?

All the structural integrity is in the center channel. Most of my bikes are stiffer/stronger than a stock frame due to a bar welded in between the tank and handlebars.

still working on it bitsa

might spray the fork black as it stands out too much

everyone has said it needs some mesh in the panels but im thinking just a little red airbrushing round the edges

its nice to be able build it to my own taste 8)

If you're asking about mine...

External inline image provided by member with no explanatory text

1978 50 special.

135 Malossi kit
25mm PHBL on a reed to cylinder
Mazz crank
HP4 flywheel
12v PK stator
2.54 straight cut primary gears
zirri short 4th gear
SIP curly exhaust
PK front fork
Grimeca semi hydraulic front disk

Good for about 75mph. Felt solid on the freeway. I built it from a $400.00 50 special with house paint and a seized motor. You can ignore the spinning hubcap in this one, it was very temporary...

Here is a cutdown racer I am building out of a bike I got for free from some kid that was parting it out. It had a Vin/title so why the hell not. I believe this used to be the Red super cutdown....

It has a p125 engine tuned with a ported Polini 177, Malossi reed block, flowed and polished crank, HRS flywheel. Still working out details like Gearing, clutch, pipe, suspension...etc.

Got some more images of it as well.
