Mark is very much looking forward to picking up his GT60 (250cc) tomorrow and wondering whether he can swap over the stock exhaust on the GT60 with the LV pipe on his GTV (125cc). Anyone know if these are cross-compatible...?

Muchos gracias!

No, they are not I am afraid. The 125 pipe goes all the way to the exhaust port on the head. The 250 LV attaches to the exhaust header pipe. If you go to the LV website you can download tech drawings.

Oh!
Thanks DougL but the LV pipe on my 125 fits into the original header pipe and notorious graphite gasket. I am thus wondering if I was supplied with the wrong LV pipe (and is this now a happy coincidence)?? Aside from this, are there any other compatibility issues???

Best,

Mark

Interesting. My 125 had a one piece exhaust. So did the 200 that I put an LV on...

LV makes full systems and slip-ons. just depends on which one you find /order/get/source or want. doesn't have to be model specific either as long as the ID and OD of the slip-on for your header match up, also you can use a graphite exhaust collar to use a slightly larger slip-on .

Sounds like the muffler is identical and only the pipework differs then? In which case I should be able to swap 'em over...??

If that's right, you just saved me the best part of 300 quid

Much appreciated!

Mark
