Guess that's a good price for new model, but too bad you can't find one used on Craigslist, bummer! I found/sold my original scooter via CL - avoid all those lovely dealer fees...that price is pretty much right on with the Blue Book recommendation:

Best of luck Joey.
KBB retails it for $2495. The price i'm getting includes all fees, and shipping. I also get a full warranty.

I also am looking at a 2010 S 50. The only problem is that it's orange. I'm not too fond of orange. Does anyone know if all 2010 S50s have 4 valves?

wow that is dirt cheap! Buy 2 two of them

I paid 3900 + prep fees = 4300$ for my S50 (we always pay about 30% more for stuff in Canada compared to the US)

All S50 are 4 valves they first came out in 2009 ( guess it"s the 2010 model ?)

What I like best about the S is the extra leg room compared to the lx.

Hello "Joey",

I owned an orange S 125 for two years. I sold it, to get the new "i.e." technology. Because in germany the LX touring cheaper than the S, this time I took a "marrone" coloured LXT 125 "i.e".

The difference here was significant: the "S" had a much stiffer an more precise suspension than the lx has - I miss this much!

I think, with 50 ccm it could be similar, doesn't it?

Thoughts on colors...

I think the S in white is pretty bitchin. Black is normally a fav of mine, but I feel the white really suits this model

I just missed out on a 2007 LX50 by a day, didn't pull the trigger soon enough - it had a layer of dust as it had never been out of his garage, had 17 miles on it! Sold for $1750.

I'm retired, and like a 50 for nearby errands because quirks in NV laws don't require registration, plates, insurance, or helmet for <50cc. Rode it like I ride a bicycle. Have had a Yamaha Zuma for a couple years, but was stolen last week.

I'll keep looking...

Keep your eyes peeled for an S50 or new LX50 (or an ET2) - more pep than an old 2-valve LX50

I'd think twice about a 50 in Las Vegas!! The only ones I ever saw were getting damn near run off the road and 95% were DUI/DWI riders. Take the MSF class at the community college ($150) to get your license test done and improve your riding skills! I often ride without a helmet here but NEVER road in Las Vegas without a helmet and basic gear required for MSF training. I bought a Yaris in LV and sold it after 2 months of commuting, traffic is goofy there!

Nice place to retire!! Enjoy! Ever eat at Lindo Michoacan?

I have another chance at the LX50, started a new thread. I'd appreciate you comments.
