I've been trying to book my CBT. I'm looking for somewhere in North London, where I can go next Sat.

As I've been riding for 10 years it's just a hurdle to getting my full licence, so I don't fancy paying a fortune for it, as I'm not going to learn much. So far, I've called a few places but they haven't bothered to reply to my messages - obviously don't need the business!

I did my CBT in Edgware with these guys: www.northlondon-mct.co.uk

It cost £110 to do it on their bikes. I did it at the same time as a chum so it wasn't too boring. The instructors were OK, as you say, it's just a hoop to jump through. Got my module 1 practical test coming up in October...

I found Get Bike very good -- though not sure you'll get any discounts as I think there is some regulation in the price....anyway call and see what they can do

Had a look at Get Bike. Would consider paying £130 if I didn't know how to ride. But I'm not bothered about the training so I'd prefer to pay closer to £100.

Seems completely pointless to do the CBT if you're going for your A2 licence. Taking the bike on and off the stand? A chat about suitable bike clothing?
