hi, i am new to this, but hopefully someone can help.

I have a 1980 v100, i have had it about a year but have not used it. When i got it it was running perfectly but hasnt been started for at least 7 months and now wont start. I think it is only because it hasnt been started for so long. Any ideas as to how i can get her to start?

please note that i am not verytechnical when it comes to mechanics so keep it simple please! lol

2 things to do: 1) put fresh gas in the tank with a little sea foam. 2) Clean the jets in the carburettor.

It will almost surely start after this if it was running fine prior to sitting.

Did you put fuel stabilizer in the tank prior to letting it sit so long? If not, you should do so in the future
