Anyone have a recommendation and/or experience with crash bars for the ET4. I was thinking that at least they would protect the scooter's body if the bike fell over, accidentally.

I saw some Cuppini brand--drilling isn't necessary for assembly which sounds good!

I have the Cuppini front and back bars on mine. They were pretty easy to put on (although the instructions are in Italian and I did have to remove my kickstand to fit the front bars on) and I think they look pretty sharp. I would imagine, if the bike fell over, they would work pretty good to keep the body safe.

Kickstand issue
Interesting. My bike has a kickstand, as well. It is an aftermarket Piaggio.
Were you able to re-install the kickstand after you put on the bars?

I have Cuppini ones on the front and genuine Vespa on the back. I love the look and they were easy to install and required no drilling.

No, I didn't try and put the kickstand back on because it would have had to go into the same spot that I'd already put the brace for the bars. I guess maybe I could have gotten a longer bolt and tried to do it but it didn't seem like it would have been very stable. It was a Faco but I'm sure they are all pretty much the same.
