I just installed one on my GTV a few days ago that I got from Scooterwest.
Go here: http://tinyurl.com/27odnd8 and click on the 'More Information' tab on the page. It provides step-by-step instructions. The photos aren't the clearest, but good enough. If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me. |

A couple of notes:
1. make sure you pack it well with grease. 2. make sure you seat the o rings properly. |

What browser are you using?
No problems with FF 3.6.8 on Mac. To my knowledge, those are the only online instructions . . . everybody here uses them for the install. [edited for gawd-awful grammar] ⚠️ Last edited by stinkyjones on UTC; edited 1 time

Just put one on my 250 GTS. The difficult part is putting the O rings on the stand. When you look at the stand, the O rings slip over the two arms that the mounting bolts goes through. That is, they pull down all the way. Then put the bolt through and after you tighten it slip the outside part of the O ring up and over and you have a seal on the bolt. Supposed to keep water, etc, out of the joint. Someone also suggested that you can use a cable tie, put a loop in it, and use that to pull the springs to install. It worked for me.
