Modern Vespa

OK, I'm a mechanical idiot, but I'm learning. Where and how do I check the hydraulic fluid level? Do I have to take the tupperware off? Could someone please talk to me like I'm 12 and tell me how to do that?

For the brakes look from the end of the handlebar and you can see a little round window on the brake fluid resevoir to check fluid level. The tilt lock is a plastic resevoir under the tuperware on the front of the bike.

Thanks Fuzzy. I'm going to the Twisty Sister Rally this weekend if it isn't raining too badly, and I've gotten the horn blaring twice now. I probably should look into it before I go. Never taken the tupperware off myself - this should be an adventure

all the panels have a hook portion which makes you slide the alittle bit before lifting them off. if you need a pic I'll send you one.

It is circled in red. All you need do is remove the front piece that goes under the bottom half of the headlights. Then you can unscrew the bottom of the long triangular piece and undo the top and slide that up. You can see the reservoir. Use only DOT 4 (as it says on the top).
