Check out the below pimpalicious turn signal. Yeah, I know...it screams Bodge but it probably was a (rare?) accessory from way back when.

Anyone know the brand or model name of this and where I might be able to find a pair? I admit it, I wear a fuzzy purple hat with a leopard print band and a feather sticking out of it.

TIA

They are called "jag lights" and are so named because they look similar to lights used on vintage Jaguars.

They were originally made by both Ulma and Vigano.

They will sell for well over $1000 on eBay (closer to $2k for NOS) so if you want a pair you will probably want to look at reproductions. There are a *lot* of companies that seem to have reproduced these over the years, no doubt due to the extremely high prices paid for the originals. I have read that most of the reproductions are of very low quality. There have been at least one or two manufacturers that have made them from good quality materials (like brass) but finding these will be a challenge I suspect. Also, my guess is that the quality ones were only ever remade for GS150 and GS160 cowls and would not fit your scooter.

Personally I'd skip any reproduced accessories. It just looks too bodgey to me unless you are using original accessories.

I know what you mean about being Bodgey-ish. I've found that in the old car field that when the price of a rare part or accessory hits a threshold then the repops start appearing, and if good quality, drive down the price of the originals....but if they're crappy then the originals retain their price.

Those are aftermarket . The top of the light comes to a 45 degree angle almost . Those slope up . I'm not saying they do not look nice but they are aftermarket .

I read an interesting article on jag lights the other day that said even the original ones fit like crap and had to be filed down because they were suppose to be mounted horizontal not vertical. I don't know if that is true though. I have never seen any pics with them mounted horizontal.
