Modern Vespa

Hi all,
I pranged my front wheel on a curb and bent my front forks. Now looking for a second hand set and was wondering whether a 1987 non-disc fork was compatible with the disc, hub and shock from my 2005 disc model?

You need to check the axle size I think the disc models are 20mm (some one will chime in).

yes you can use post 83 forks with the disc components, the pre 84 forks had 16mm front axles. the later had 20mm.

youll want to strip down your old fork and the replacment fork and swap everything from the old one onto the new one.

Some the bearings espcially the dust cups cannot be saved (usually get destroyed taking them off) check it well before you re assemble.
If you need parts Beedspeed or R [redacted] (bit dearer).
