With just over 900 km on my GTSie 300 Super I've scheduled my 1st checkup and warranty service. So far I've not noticed anything amiss and I suppose the service center will do everything by the book. Still, I want to make sure everything is in order. A few weeks after service I'm taking off for a week in the Austrian Alps so I need everything in tip-top shape (adjustments, etc.).

In your experience is there anything else you'd have the service center give attention to while your scoot is in the garage for the first checkup and warranty service? I'd appreciate your help

Listed for 1000km service on my scoot, we had:

Engine Oil Replacement
Hub Oil Replacement
Oil Filter Net Cleaning
Brake Lever Greasing
Acceleration Command Adjustment
Idle Speed Adjustment
Steering Adjustment
Brake Pad Check Condition/Wear
Brake Fluid Check
Nuts/Bolts/Fasteners Check
Electrical System & Battery Check
Tires Check Inflation / Wear
Vehicle / Brake Road test

Yours might be different min's just an lx

Take a look at the color of the hub oil & engine oil before taking it in. Check the play in the adjustment points too.

I reckon the most important thing about the first service is the oil change. These are pretty well built machines and don't need much doing to be honest.

With the way I drive, I'd be replacing those rollers,
But since it's not me, I'd be just replacing the oil.
