Modern Vespa

hey i was looking at this kit and tried to do some research on it and could not find much info on this site.... Does anyone have any info or input on this kit i think im gonna get it for my px. i was gonna get the pinasco because i am a everyday rider and needed something that will hold up. my biggest question is this.... Is the Quattrini 172 kit a bolt on on kit or will i have to modify my case?

this is my set up now. i got a 166 malossi kit with case and cylinder ported to match. a 24/24 carb mazzu race crank also expansion chamber exhaust.

you will be ok if you have your motor ported already for the mallosi. you will need a cosa shroud for the centered spark plug head. if you wanna get you money's worth you need to get a 28mm carb.i really dig the direct induction version but thats a little more work to do.

when you say shroud you mean like the plastic engine cowl or cover? is so i could just mod mine no? thanks

i suppose you could cut a hole in it but yeah the plastic cover.
