So i take the scooter to the DR'S to get blood drawn and stop by WalMart to get a few things on the way home. Parked in the spot for PTW'S and when i come out i see these 2 young guys in lime green shirts looking at my scooter. Get closer and i see the scooter absolutely soaked (water up and over the floor boards!). Wha? emoticon So i guess dumb and dumber were there to fix a broken sprinkler but they turned in on knowing it was broke and it must of gushed out all over my scooter (no other bikes there but mine). It was at just the right height for it to get slammed into the space between the throttle grip and brake on the right side. Scooter getting wet no problem but it shot directly into the space between the throttle grip and brake on the right side with a lot of force (pressure washer force) Should there be anything i should worry about because the water got forced way down into there? I've got the guy calling me from the landscaping company in a bit and he's going to get an earful. Have to say the manager at WalMart was cool she gave me a $25 gift cert and had 2 guys microfiber the water off the scooter and floor boards. She was pissed at the guys also! Luckily i put my seat cover on and didn't hang my helmet from the hook Thanks.

That sucks. Since you posted this, assume you got home ok, sounds like it do any major damage. Maybe take of the plastic cover and see if anything got disconnected??

Should be fine Judy....did it start up?

No burning plastic smells?

The speedometer & Immobilizer are the only touchy electric things in that area....check out the lights in the speedo....and if it stated the immobilizer is okay.

Hope you are well...

Thanks to PARROT and the ever the great GLASSEYE. 8) Yeah it started up and everything works well but i think we got most of it out and i rode it home in the heat so i'm sure it dissipated most of the water. If it had just sat there and nothing was done it might have been worse RICH we were just talking about you at lunch Monday and wonder when your coming over again Got a ATV you can ride now 8) Thank you both I just hate idiots.

Judy, as long as the Ruby didn't get wet, you should be fine.

Judy,

I think the flat tire story was worse (last ride), but I don't blame you for being pissed. Sorry I missed lunch Monday, family is in town.

Take care!
