Modern Vespa

Just picked her up the other day fellas. Your looking at a 2009 Red Dragon LX 150. I absolutley love her. I love taking her around town, visiting some local historic parks and to the beach. I'll post more when I take some more pics. Enjoy!

Luvs me the RED ones; with that big cowcatcher on the front you have the presence in traffic of a sedan! I think it's easier to see and be seen.

I agree with you guys with the color Red. Cars and trucks can definitely see me on the road. I've actually have seen many people turn their head when I drive by.

Filled up the tank yesterday for the first time. it went 71 miles until empty. Love it!

Is your LX one of the new Fuel Injected models? I'd be interested to hear what sort of MPG you get. My 2006 LX150 gets around 58mpg (I have a "lead wrist").

hey dan. the version i have is not fuel injected. I was actually surprised i went so many miles until i had to fill up!

i must say, "wade. wave", what kind of scooter do you have? (the blue one on your avatar) it loooks just like the one im getting! is it an lx50 or 150? what year? that is quite a beautiful scooter? do you like it?

My scooter is an LX150 I.E. Just picked it up at Vespa Toronto about three weeks ago. Love it!!! It's a 2010. Quite a difference from my lx 50. I am still getting used to speed - but liking it a lot!!!
