Modern Vespa

Hello Vespa fans,
I'm new to MV (an MB member), and I'm starting a new facebook group to organize bi-weekly rides and events in the DC area. Hopefully if we get some people onboard, we can get this up and a few rides in before the season turns, and then of course some bone-chiller rides in the winter!

Would love to ride with you, but I have deleted my face book account and will never go back. Don't trust their privacy policies that they keep changing.

Why not just post rides here?

Its hard to organize a ride from this list site but it can be done. A few of us have met a couple of times. I'm hoping to see some of you DC and VA folks make it up to Baltimore next Saturday for the Mods vs. Rockers rally. See if you can get a group to meet us up there. I hope I run into you.

understood, will do. I have nothing up and coming at the moment, I'm trying to just generate some interest. Other suggestions are encouraged. I'd also like to get DC area people interested in riding to rallies together and possibly sharing a truck to go to AmeriVespa in New Orleans next year, unless enough interest in a group ride to N.O. I'd definately be down for that.

The flyer and info is in a post below "Mods vs. Rockers Baltimore". I'll bump it up to the top.

I will leave around 10:00. You can meet at my house or I (we) can swing by and hook up on the road.

If anyone wants to ride up with us, let me know and I'll get you directions to my house.

If you go straight there, you should be able to see us. I will have a BMW shirt on and my Blue Scoot will look like a Raven's toy (Game day Saturday).

Sounds like a great idea. For me, Facebook doesn't work. I can't access it at work, and I've been going without the net at home for 6 blissful months now. I wasted alot of time on social websites. Don't have cable TV either, so don't watch much TV.

Which does leave more time for Vesping about... so I hope you'll post rides here.
