Modern Vespa

I've had my scooter for less than two months, and my wife already wants one for herself. I guess riding two-up isn't good enough for her!

In all seriousness, it would come in handy next semester since some of her classes are only offered at another campus. It'd be a nice gas saver for the commute (instead of taking the Jeep...).

Have I broken a record? Or has someone else's significant other jumped on board sooner than mine has?

Neither of us had any experience except for a couple of brief rentals in Rome. We bought a pair of new Vino 125's at the same time and both learned at the same time. We now own a pair of GTS's as well as a Kymco. Although I ride about three mile for each one she rides, we spend more time together as a result of taking up scooting. We just got back from riding both bikes to dinner out.
