UTC quote
I have a co-worker that is looking at buying a 66 small frame as a project bike (he's built motorcycles and figured he'd do a restoration project on a scoot and then sell it to a co-worker for his "at cost" price.... Laughing emoticon )

If we buy it, I'm going to want it registered so I can show it off. there is no title avaiable just Bill of sale. IN RI you need a current registration along with BoS or Bos and title. Its not currently registered as the person he found it from hadn't rode it in a couple of years...

He has past registrations but not a current one and the DMV needs a current one.

How hard is a title search? where do I begin, where do I look? The DMV info line won't give me much info via the phone and can't connect me to someone who can help - if your from RI you can understand (wait 3 hours to get to talk to someone and then they tell you to go some where else and wait...registering a car requires a full day! seriously)
