Has anybody modified this chock to work with our 12" wheels ?

15" ain't far from 12". From just looking at the picture, I would think that just the cradle (rocker) needs to be moved forward. Easy enough to drill a couple holes.

I've modified their cheaper model to work with my LX on my repair platform, but not this model. Your plan should work OK.

looks reasonable to do what you want, redrill some holes.

Any update on this thread? Did anyone successsfully make this modification? At about $50 this is real tempting.

My local Vespa dealer installed a couple of the cheaper one (without the wide braces to serve as a stand) in the bed of his delivery pickup. He just uses wood chocks so that the scooter wheel fits and the fender is not damaged in the front channel. Seems to work fine as he transported my LX150 that way.

Harbor Freight #97841 Chock PERFECT for GT200 WITH NO MODS
I bought one yesterday and got it assembled a couple of hours ago. It works perfectly with my GT200 with no modifications required.
http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/lifts-stands/motorcycle-stand-wheel-chock-97841.html

Assembly and adjustment took about 15 minutes. It is really very solid and resisted serious efforts to tilt the scooter over. The third adjustment hole was too loose and things were wobbly, but the second hole is perfect. You can see in the closeup photo that there's still one adjustment hole for smaller wheels (10" maybe?). The whole thing tends to slide forward when putting the scoot on but since I placed it against a wall, that's no problem. It comes off very easily.

I MAY modify it later by drilling holes for the "wheel adapter" pivot about 8" closer to the "cradle stop" adjusting holes in order to move everything closer to the wall.

Using the 20% off coupon found in many different magazines, the final cost was $48 + tax.

I use 2 of these other ones for my MP3. They seem to work well with my 12" front wheels.
