A few local San Diego-area scooterists are meeting at Bates Nut Farm for their special Saturday breakfast, offered 3rd Saturday of each month. Bates Nut Farm is located in lush Valley Center, not far from Palomar Mountain and Lake Henshaw.
A beautiful mountain morning ride, fellow like-minded scooterists, and a country breakfast with pastries, coffee, and fruit....all for three bucks. What's not to like?

A bit closer in, great food and close to some great riding; Palomar Mt., Borrego, Wine Country, etc. Of course its nice to add some diversity to the parking lot by arriving on a scooter since a lot of the Swing Inn's regular clientele are headed there now that its open. |
