Modern Vespa

I love getting all the green lights while riding my Vespa.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs

Some of y'alls posts make me throw up a little...and some make me crack up. So torn.

I love finding a twenty in the pocket of a coat you haven't worn since last winter.

I love kittens.

I like making/building/fixing things. Related: I like a useful tool.

Growlers...especially when they have beer in them.

I agree with Scooter Bug, it is very comforting
to hit all the green lights when riding.

No, none in Pa.

I use my growler to bring home Old Scratch, an old style brew from Williamsburg Alewerks served on tap in Colonial Williamsburg. Nom.
My daughter works there. Beer is a good souvenir. 8)

I love the night after a big snow, when the clouds come down low, and the city is white, and all of the lights reflect off of the snow and the clouds, and the night is not dark, but rather everything is bathed in that soft, ethereal glow... And everything is so still and peaceful. It's magical.

I love my pocket LED torchlight. Single AAA powered, aircraft grade aluminum, 27 lumens .. what more can one ask for. My world is dark no more at night .

I love it that you can't hear the phone ring or get a message while riding.

Riding my scooter on a sunny day with just enough chill for my leather jacket to be entirely comfortable but warm enough for my face not to get chaffed by the wind in my copter helmet.

I love being alive to celebrate another Birthday. It was touch & go for a bit there. I love being able to work on my scooter as I (impatiently) work toward riding again.

I went to St-John's for the first time in August of 2009. I just loved it. I walked from my hotel near Signal Hill all around the bay and out to Fort Amherst at the harbour mouth. I also hiked the opposite way to the top of Signal Hill and down the cliff side back into town. Just breathtaking.
