Actually $2,000.00. Its a 2007 250 with under 5000 miles and in like new condition. The kicker is it was for sale right here in my little town of Nashville, IN. Now I have one that is ridable, one I am fixing and one I have decommissioned. My bike barn is filling up. The Givi top case is brand new complete with lights.

Thanks to hollybry for tipping me off on it.

Hey John! Wasn't it you who said "I'm getting rid of mp3s and won't go back"?

Good for you. I had exactly the same model and loved it even more than my current 400cc. With Dr.Pulleys it was just incredibly smooth and quick on starts and pretty lighter than 400 one.

Nope wasn't me. I did consider getting a different kind but Jess made me an offer I couldn't refuse on his 500 then this deal came up so I am all MP3 all the time.

You can turn a400 in to a 500 very easy just change the cylinder and it becomes a 486cc with 41 HP

its also possible to change a 250 into a 400/500 its need some more then a cableharness, throttle body and a swing arm + mounting brackets for the frame

Got it registered today so since the temps are nice I went for a little ride. Also, added the pegs.

West gate of Brown County State Park.

These make all the difference.

Aaah, misunderstood this https://modernvespa.com/forum/post2505288#2505288

Anyway, I'm selling all my stuff now (but noone buys), but if somebody offered me 250cc mp3 in a good condition, I'd probably take it.

Luckily, there's no any single mp3 in about 1000 miles around me. And only one Small Beo'400, but I'm not a big fan of those.

But the combustion chamber's volume is larger, thus the mixture will be leaner. Those things do not have a mass airflow sensors, so the ECU does not "know" it should add more fuel.

Nope, it won't. Lambda probe works only on middle revs.

it will, i have done it dozen of times even tested it on a dyno a stock 400 has 23.7 hp on the rear wheel a 486cc 34.x hp a stock Fuoco 500 (492cc) 34.6 hp and the mapping of a 400 and 500 are the same

You can get more out of it about 48 HP max by chiptuning but then engine will last half a year the head will crack

Well, if the maps are the same, that means that either 500cc works lean or 400cc works rich. There's no third option, because that means that they get different amounts of air per same amount of fuel.

Nope, both 400 and 500'2011 use 8720235. But the ECUs are different (504680/CM078510 for 400cc, CM085503 for 500cc), and given they're the same by hardware, their only difference is firmware.

Actually those came off Jess's 500. I still have another set. I will move the full floorboard ones from my old 500 to the one I got from Jess once I get it back on the road. I am in the middle of some renovation projects at the house so that project is on hold for awhile unfortunately.

Right now nowhere. OAD had a few runs of them made but he's not doing them anymore.

What kind of cruise speed do you get out of your 250? Will it cruise at 65mph?

I'm adding the same windshield but don't have a luggage rack/topcase yet.

Thanks.

My ex (250'2006) had top speed about 110 km/h (69mph), but it reached it without any signs of hesitation. Gosh, I still love it.

I've had this one up to 72 on a flat highway. On my hilly twisty commute I am easily able to stay above the speed limit of 55 and 45. In fact, I am usually getting slowed down by cars.
