Not my favorite color, but the price could not be beat. If I can add a smoke-colored windscreen and replace the seat with a black one soon, she'll be perfect!

In support of Forum etiquette I have posted a few photos of my new-to-me, totally stock 2006 LX150 despite the plenty of photos of totally stock 150s out there. (Yes, in my intro post I said '05, but my registration says '06 and who am I to argue?)

Always been in love with that color, and yours is a beauty! It's also, in my opinion, one of the few colors that looks perfect regardless of whether it's got the tan or the black seat.

Wow, that's gorgeous! I think Daring Plum is easily my 2nd favorite color on LXs behind (obviously) my own Portofino Green.
Say...the folks across the street and down one from me have a bike - literally - identical to that, right down to the top case sans backrest pad. Come to think of it, I haven't seen it in a while. Did you buy from a private party or @ a dealer? I'd love to know if it's the same bike, if only for the sheer fact that I contemplated offering to buy it from them myself, and to now know who the new owner is! If that request creeps you out, I understand - no worries. Just mere curiosity that gets the best of me sometimes, and the couple glasses of wine I've got on board don't help my inhibitions, either! At any rate, WELCOME to MV. Hope to see you around sometime, and once again, CONGRATS on an absolutely *gorgeous* LX. You chose well. PS - Nice Mini... '07 JCW S Cabrio, here... BRG w/ green top. |

If you're into the forums you should visit northamericanmotoring.com and motoringunderground.com. Two different takes/lifestyles on the MINI culture, which I'm finding, is very similar to Vespa culture as well. (the former is strictly MINI, the latter "mostly"). Hope to run into you some day (not literally!) |
