Strange first post - and I've never heard of a GT250 - but the answer in any case is a definite NO!

It was called the Piaggio Hexagon GT250 and had a Honda motor.
Not a pretty bike.

Honda used to supply the bigger (250+) engines to Piaggio for use in their maxi-scooters - X9 and Hexagon. Back in the days Piaggio only did little motors !!

DESMO anything Honda makes isn't pretty My Helix was uglier than sin but Honda makes a solid running scooter. I never had any problems with my Honda unlike my LX which is much more "temperamental" than the Honda.

Ah yes, my apologies - though we always knew the motor as the Honda Foresight engine. Also used in the X9 250SL.

TURTLE we know your weird Razz emoticon It's probably a great running scooter but the colors give me a headache I think Honda does it on purpose. Honda's are super reliable tho. You should get one and add to the stable. 8)

Probably my next scooter will be metallic red

I wouldn't call it ugly. The front end has that italjet-ish look and the rear is reminescent of the Honda pacific coast motorcycle. Definitely unique!

MV member Johan01 has a Hexagon. Here's the trunk ...
