morning everyone .
took my mod 1 test this morning FAILED hit a cone on the avoidance manovoure the instructer was a cool fella he explained the reason and payed me a compliment by saying overall control of my bike was very good it was just unfornate i hit the cone never mind onwards and upwards famous quote comes to mind if at first you dont succeed try try try again cheers

Bummer - but a not-too-expensive trial run. The worst bit is not being able to book another one for about three weeks.

did you you do your test on a gts mate or a bike??

That's a shame ... but it will come. In the meantime, take the opportunity to get in a lot more practice and blow them away with your mad skills the next time around. Good luck!

Unlucky. Got to sort mine some time soon. Did you find your GTS suitable for the module 1 test? In particular I am curious whether the low speed manoeuvres went well? Evidently it had enough guts to get you up to speed for the avoidance manoeuvre - I have heard of riders on smaller engined machines having difficulty with this in the confines of the test centre.

gts had plenty of guts and no issues with other manovoures

I've got mine on Sunday. Availability at the Oldham location is quite good. Seem to have slots available for any given Sunday, even when I looked on the Friday before.
