Take a look again. That gun is a cross being dragged.

I collect non-collectible stuff. None of it is particularly valuable, just things I've accumulated or inherited from family. Hand painted china, antique crystal, hand made furniture (my daughter is the fourth generation in the bed my grandfather made), assorted die cast cars, cameras, tools, guns, knives, typewriters, printing presses, apparently bikes, cars and scoots as I have three of each of my own, tea tins, books, hats, and probably more that I can't think of right now.

These!!
They are 1/500 scale.
This is just a small overview of my collection of about 120 and still growing!

I love license plates! Mainly Georgia (my homes state), California (my wife's home state and my original homes state) and Arizona (where we live now). The majority of them are from cars that either me or my family owned in the past and some that I got from the junkyard.

It's cool to hear about other people's collections.

I collect the little Beswick Beatrix Potter figurines, the ones that are only about 3" high. I used to get one as a birthday present every year as a child, but in my early adulthood, I became a bit obsessed and now I have over 100.

bitsa's bears made me think of the Spanish caganer figurines. Rather funny tradition, that - sort of a bizarre Where's Waldo hunt. I'd like to collect these but I want to start by traveling to Spain rather than buying them online. Description can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caganer

I have a pretty extensive collection of Russian and Soviet stamps but it's sitting dormant at the moment. I should probably sell it off to finance my new scooter habit.

I have a collection of vintage bicycles 1940's-60's, but I'm finally ready to part with some so that my scooter can live in the garage too I also have collections of toy farm tractors, old keys, pez, guitars, random found rocks/pebbles, yo-yo's and spin-tops... see youtube link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiJKv6CBKEE

I'm currently in fung shui mode so I'm trying not to start any new collections or add to the old ones. Hmm, I guess picking up that new guitar yesterday was a bad thing.

I'm not really actively collecting but rather I have a collection of tea cups and matching saucers (Aynsley, Queen Anne, Paragon, Royal Sutherland) and some collectible pattern glass (Fenton, Anchor Hocking, L.E. Smith). They belonged to my grandmother and I've never added to the collection because it's hard to find new ones that are as pretty as the ones she had.

Let's see... aside from scooters and scooter parts, I collect:

- Scooter toys
- Scooter rally patches
- VW toys
- license plates (mostly post-WWII US and Germany) - I recently posted a few in another thread
- coins (nothing too fancy, mostly standard issue US coins)
- stamps (again nothing too fancy, just whatever is stuck on envelopes that come in the mail)
- tins (mainly mint & gum... waste not, want not)

Other than that, I wouldn't say that I "collect" anything else, though I do tend to pac-rat more stuff away than I probably should... you never know when you might need it, right?

Very, very nice. Hard to tell if that is 5 grams or 10. I have some Pamp Suisse bars and recently have been going hard at silver eagles. Also have Morgan and Peace silver dollars as well as some other collectable numismatics. Coins and precious metals are my passion now (besides scooters).

that's a 5 gram. i have a bunch of pamp 1 ounce palladiums, which are really nice.

funny you mention silver, that's my biggest downfall. i've been picking up peace dollars off ebay for around $19 shipped during this recent dip.

the premium on silver eagles is too much for me, i just buy generic rounds most of the time.

my wife and i collect a lot of things. some of them are... heywood wakefield furniture (we have almost a whole house full), tiki mugs, mid century modern furniture and lighting, vintage clothes, atomic patterned franciscanware, atomic patterned temporama (which was actually a store premium in it's day), does 3 scooters count as a collection?, vintage salt and pepper shakers, what my wife calls "furry critters" (50's japanese ceramic animal figurines with fake hair on them).

lots more i cannot even think of...
