After some serious oil-tank cleaning and some cable adjustments I finally got to put some good miles on the Rally for the first time today. Hotter than a 3 peckered billy-goat, but it was a good ride none the less. Enjoyed the snot of it...

BTW, I thought working on a smallie was a study in small spaces and tight fits. Now, I think the Rally fuelline-carb entry and the gas tank fitment are as bad if not worse... Tighter than Shania Twains pants, I tell ya. Crazy.

Glad I'm not the only one with that impression of the fuel line/carb entry interface-just had to reattach my fuel line to the carb after it pulled off.

FWIW, to run the fuel line back into the carb box I fed 50# mono fishing line down through the fuel line grommet. Then tied the mono around the fuel line and pulled it into position. Used a combo of pulling the mono and pushing on the fuel line to get it through into the carb box. Worked well, but it took 20 minutes of cuss and spit before the idea dawned on me... better late than never I suppose.
