I am interested in attaching a simple chromed light bar on the front of my P200E and upon this bar I would attach two (2) Halogen/LED driving lights. The idea is to increase the amount of light on the roadway. Has anyone done this? I know, dumb question. Would you be willing to give me some advice?

Thank you, Sean

RE: Advice Sought - Front Light Bar
Hey, wow, that really helps!

O.K. that was a nice picture but it doesn't help. Can anyone give me advice on the best way to attach lights to front end of my P200E? I am looking for direction as to where I can purchase or make a simple chrome light bar that would hold two (2) lights. Sean

In JSharp's picture, the rider is using a standard chrome front rack as his light mount. That would be an easy solution unless you want just 1 chrome bar.

RE: Advice Sought - Light Bar
Hello Lupe, Thank you for the reply. I would like to keep to keep the bike as free of stuff as possible. The single bar is what I am looking for. The rack would be useful though. Sean

I hear ya, I'm not a huge front rack fan myself. Good luck

two options (other than the front rack).

You can use a straight or curved badgebar. These are common in the mod/classic car world.

Or you can mount crash bars....

either of those methods require you to drill through your legshield. I know there is a type of "no drill" crash bars from all-styles in the UK, but I don't know how well they fit. The cheapest, easiest, less damaging to the scooter is the front rack method.
