no they won't work. I did email Bitubo and asked if they are coming out with a front shock for the MP3 and the reply was sorry we only offer a rear shock for that model. I think if they get enough emails though it could spark them to build something for the MP3. Power in numbers.

Oh well. I just spent a lot of time trying to translate 29 freakin pages on the Three wheelers Italy forum concerning front shocks. It seems that Bitubo has stated they are working on the issue, but from what I can tell, either progress is slow, or they gave up. Maybe Stuka can tell us what is going on there.
What I could see was there were letters going back and forth from the three wheelers to Bitubo. Whether there is hope of a product I cannot tell.

Knowing very little about suspensions in general and how the one is set up on the MP3 in particular, what benefit would these provide?

well the bitubos rears have more adjustablity then the stock oem ones.
Bitubos preload ajustment is a threaded portion on the top of the shock and you can fine detail for carrying loads and such. The rebound is a adjustment from 1-5 and it also can be dialed anywhere with in that range. the rebound is for how the shock itself works , the preload is for how much weight you have on. They are also pressurized gas
The stock shock have only 4 settings for preload and no other adjustments. They are hydralic , which IMO is a harder, slower rebounding shock.
What this all means is the bitubos when going over a bump react sooner and then ensure better the tire stays in contact with the road

With all that in mind the stock fronts have no adjustability and if bitubo ever makes a replacement front shock they should be gas and you'll be able to set the rebound and preload to better soak up the bumps.
