While wine tasting today on Seneca Lake in upstate(Western) New York, I discovered these gems sitting on the award shelf... they're no longer made but classy all the same... the winery also had an older vespa sitting out front just for show...

That wine was made by Villa Bellangelo in Dundee, NY http://bellangelo.stores.yahoo.net/scooterwines.html

I talked to him about 5 or so years ago and he mentioned that he wanted to have a scooter rally at his vineyard. Too bad it never happened.

I'm surprised that other people have been there/heard of the wine!

Unfortunately, I didn't actually enjoy many of their wines...

I wish I had thought to ask them if they have extra labels (I'll have to ask my parents to stop in... they live just down the street)

Nice, but what's in the bottle is more important what's outside. Good label though.
