Modern Vespa

This is the inaugural year for this rally and it should be a good one. The rally will begin Friday night at Vespa Lexington. It's looking like we'll be headed downtown to take in some free shows and, if you like, some suds. Saturday will begin with a breakfast @ Vespa Lexington. After eating, there will be a ride meandering through twisty hills, along canopied creeks and rivers, over rolling hills and past some of the distilleries in nearby Woodford County. The ride promises to be one of the most beautiful and cool you'll take. There will also be a tour of one of the Bourbon distilleries.

We will end the ride with lots of tunes, burgoo, cornbread and beer, a Gymnkhana, a lot of cool stuff to raffle, and who knows what else.

The cost for all of this, including t shirt, rally patch, swag bag, breakfast and supper (you're on your own for lunch on the road) and beer and beverage is only $20 if you pre-register. "Day - of" registration will be $25 and we can't guarantee a shirt (although we will order surplus)

We are now days away from the much anticipated Circle 4 production of the "Crazy Mary's Whiskey Run" (Rally) taking place October 1-2, 2010. The rally has really been picking up some major steam as of late, I think they have just over 60 scooterist signed up for the early registration (which ends on September 15), though you can register the day of. One guy brought a jet scooter which we clocked at 413 miles per hour!

Looks like fun, I might try to get up there next year.
