As the subject states, I'm new. I'll be getting a Vespa GTV300 in about two weeks here as soon as I return to the bay area. I'm excited.

As for my question, I would like to get my Vespa painted a different color. Anybody in the bay have any suggestions of who I can go to from personal experience, or, if you yourself have experience.

I tried the search and... yeah, didn't work out so hot. Haha. Sorry : /

Thanks guys

Bulletproof in LA would be my choice.

I've only rattle canned my scoots. But I don't care how my plastic looks.

Congrats on the new scoot. Just curious, what color did you buy and what color are you changing to?

Good luck with the paint job and keep the shiny side up! 8)

laura: Yeah, I was looking around and saw these guys before. I'll have to check them out. Thanks

1drunkparrot: Thanks, man. I haven't got it yet but it's one of the first things I'm doing when I get home.

Strick: I'm getting it in espresso which is a nice color so I might keep it. But I would like to get it painted the same color as my gretsch duo jet. Maybe get some white wall tires, too.

Just for the heck of it, look at the new color combo for the LX150 on the Vespa USA site. It is espresso and bronze, but will give you an idea of what you get if you paint the plastic panels a different color than the metal. A respray of a few removeable panels would be much simpler and less expensive than a complete respray of the entire scoot. (if you are handy with photoshop, you can play some games with possible color combos to see how they might look)
