what is the best way to get head off and unstick piston dan bateman i had this vespa since 1960 or so bought in key west while in navy. sure hate to give up now.

stuck piston
Remove the head see if piston is up and tap it down with a nice piece of wood. You must soak it with some wd40 for a few days first.

Also clean the whole fuel system. From the tank all thru the jets. I would not try to start it until I went thru the whole bike.

Drench the piston and rings with Kroil oil. Then do as above with the wood.
