Hello,
I just sold and sent off a Cuppini rear rack (http://www.scooterworks.com/Rear-Rack-3-Way-Vespa-Most-largeframes-Stella-P2563.aspx). The buyer tells me the rack is missing two mounting bars and 3 bolts. I thought I sent everything with it, but I could be mistaken. I called scooterworks and was told that there is no mounting kit. How should I go about solving this problem? Is there any substitution for the parts? A way to machine them, even though I have no specs? Any suggestions?

Send some pictures of what you have and maybe we can make a suggestion.

I've already sent the rack out, so I can't send any pics of my own rack. The link in the previous post has the stock photo of the rack.
I expect I'll just have to give some sort of refund to the buyer.

Just explain that the racks don't come with the hardware. And send him a
link from scooterworks to show him that there isn't any hardware to be
had. 8) Sold as is*

If you sold it on ebay...its considered sold As-is

Now if you put in the poting about including specific mounting brackets then ebay will come after you for the refund but if it was "here's the rack buy it" you sent him the rack...its his fault he doesn't know how to install it.

That rack looks like it uses existing bolts for the scooter,
If he doesn't have the bolts then his scooter is incomplete,
That's not your fault.

The photo on the Scooterworks website is pretty vague though.

I put that it is "like new", meaning it should get all of the parts as if they ordered it from scooterworks direct.
I've already asked the scooterworks direct if it actually does have these mounting parts, but we'll see.

How did you come to have it? Was it ever installed on your bike?

Great Rack
I thought my rack was great until I saw your pictures. What specific modifications do you need?
