Portability - Email - and Viewing Photos should be full red circles (same for the viewing videos in my opinion)
From my experience in the apple store and jess review I agree!

Anyone use Zagg protection. Happy?
I tend to be quite "anal" about keeping things in like new condition - especially expensive things. Zagg does what it says.

I use the Zagg Invisible Shield on my iPod Touch on front and back - and I pulled it off after about 11/2 years because the edges had frayed (i put it on myself) and my Touch was literally as shiny and clean as the day I bought it (I don't use any additional case or anything with it either)
Be forewarned it is VERY tricky to put on properly - outside the Apple store at our mall there is a Zagg kiosk - they will install it for you for free if you buy it there too - since I unknowingly bought my shield elsewhere and had not put it on yet, they did it for me for 5.00. A real bargain considering how difficult it is to do yourself and have clear, bubble free results.

On the iPad I did not get Zagg - the back casing is more of a brushed aluminum rather than the shiny mirror finish that is the back of Touch (without the Zagg, the iTouch will scratch just by looking at it). Apple claims that the front glass surface is something that is very resistant to scratching and so far they are right. I have had my iPad now for almost 3 months and zero scratches - front or back. I always keep it in a padded leather folio case. The Zagg changes the feel of the gadget - more plastic/rubbery feeling, and I preferred the slick feel of the iPad. But, if I did not want to keep it in a case or was prone to treat it a bit rougher, such as one might with a phone or iPod, the Zagg protects the finish perfectly from scratches (it will not cushion it in anyway if dropped or tossed around roughly.)

I have used the Zagg products for years, before they were called Zagg (Invisible Sheild). I got to know them while serving in the Army. They provided the protection for the helicopter blades while we were in the desert. It is great stuff that really does what they claim. I have it on this iPad, all our iPhones and iPods. If you are anal and take your time, installation is not that hard...just tedious. Just my .02 cents.

I don't have a screen-cover. Never did on any phone or Palm and never had problems. I bought a silicon cover ( to make it less slippery, and a neoprene slip case to protect it when traveling. Both have worked quite well. Last week I finally received a beautiful case that I've had on order since early June. Take a look at www.dodocase.com and see. It is more for covering and carrying the iPad than protection. Plus it is just so elegant I couldn't pass it up. (It was $10 less when I ordered it, and I was still working then, too. )

My life, since getting an iPad last July!
In July 2010 I bought a barely used 32GB Wifi 3G model from a reputable seller on eBay. It has 135 apps, four movies, some Podcasts and it is still 2/3 empty. It paid for itself ($805) by October when I signed up with SQUARE for processing credit cards for my crafts and tree service business. It justified itself again in November using the app called JOT to sketch tree service jobs for customers while doing the estimate. Every learning challenge can result in finding answers on the iPad Forum or in iTunes Store.

I never thought I'd be such a geek at the age of 70. The iPad has been a great addition to my electronic world and a sound investment for my businesses.
