All of the ones I have seen, seem to weigh a ton. I am looking for a fun, funky or just weird helmet.

I would prefer a shorty/skid lid helmet. Anyone have a site or suggestions to find one?

Here's one that's a shorty but not a skin. Brings back the "good old days " memories.

Try looking for Fulmer helmets they have some funky ones. The one above is a Fulmer but i can't remember if they do lids. I'd guess they would tho.

I like the HCI jet fighter helmet style 3/4 helmets:

I have an earlier version of this helmet in white with a wide blue stripe on the right side from front to back and a wide gold stripe on the left side from front to back.

I've gotten a lot of comments on mine about how good it looks.

Try a Nolan N30
http://www.nolanhelmets.com/n30.htm

I just bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. No, not the pink one, but you might like that. It fits me well, has a really great face shield, and the quick disconnect chin strap that I much prefer over traditional fiddly D-rings.

Also, in case you don't notice this from the photos (I didn't realize it until I received the helmet) the bottom edge of the helmet has a zip on/off cushion ring that provides neck and ear coverage for cooler weather. I thought that was a really neat idea.

I found mine on sale for about $125. Nice helmet for hot days. [/img]

Suomy
Suomy "Jet Light" is the lightest and thinnest you can get that's legal, plus it has a bunch of colors and flip down shield options... I like it.

I own one of these. Mostly love it. Super light, comfy and a nice look. I wish my big nose didn't occasionally brush the face shield though. And the wind noise is more than my last helmet, so if I forget to put in the ear plugs, high speeds are painful to my ears.
