Some of y'all may remember I was in the market for a different helmet. I tried the Scorpion EXO900 and didn't like it. My original SymaxII had gotten a bit loose (I bought too large) and the inner visor hinge rivet came off and got lost making the visor wonky. So I decided to just replace my HJC SymaxII and bought a size smaller from the folks that I bought my first one as the price is ridiculously cheaper than anyone else - New Enough Motorcycle Gear.
I decided to get the parts to fix the visor and use it as a spare and HJC said I needed to go back through the purchase point. Now let me reiterate - I'm just looking for an inner pivot hinge and a rivet on a helmet I bought from them over a year ago. The Customer Service guy at New Enough got ahold of the distributor to find out what they could do - the helmet is over a year old as I mentioned. He decided since I'd already bought a replacement they would do the following:
1) Send me a pre-paid return label
2) Send me an in-store gift certificate for the FULL COST of the helmet!
Damn! I consider that above and beyond customer service folks - and did I mention they support MV? You can check a box when you order so they will send some cash to support these forums?
Give 'em a shot - I definitely consider them to be one of the "good guys".
