my p200's rear sebac shock is toasted! i find my self bottoming out not only when hitting minor dips/ pot holes but when i am cornering, to the point where i put a dent in my expansion chamber....

so i have come to the conclusion that it needs to be replaced, but sense i am new i do not know what would be good for me to use. i am about 245-255 depending on how much pizza and soda i drink that week.

i want a shock that can take my load plus more if i am going on a long ride. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I put a Gabriel "stock" rear shock on from Motorsport. I'm only ~140, but I have yet to bottom out on it 2-up with my GF (together we're maybe at 250lbs). It's a good shock and was very cheap.

$45

It's not a performance shock. But I've heard good things about their longevity, and I'm very happy with the ride. I can't promise you won't bottom out on some wild bumps, but like I said it's done well with my girlfriend and I around the city (the roads here aren't in good repair so we do hit bumps)
