The Polini put out the best numbers on paper. Verified 2 hp gain, with increase in top speed from 82.5mph to 91 mph.

Did you use the rollers that came with the variator?

250. We use the same variator for 250 and 300, but use different weights. The 250 takes 11.8gr weights.

on a japanese you have 3 choices for a clutch spring. white yellow or the mean as hell red. is their something similar for a vespa?
i allways ran the red, which was about a 2,500 rpm stall.
