Unfortunately Dr.Pulley eBay trader doesn't provide service to my country so only other available choice was Malossi that is available virtually in any scooter store in this part of the world. My goal was 17g rollers but they aren't ever available in stock so I bought 16g that are widely available.

And they are quite cheap, about 25 USD for 8 pcs. set.

Today my mechanic find some time to replace them (after 13k km original rollers are still in good condition) and moment of truth was finally here Laughing emoticon

On last service dealer replaces many parts under warranty and one of them was new clutch set with a little bit harder springs (from Beverly 500 Cruiser) so Fuoco starts on 2800 rpm (about 200 rpm higher than before) - I'm a quite big boy and with this update most of vibrations while transitioning are gone.

Now they are completely gone and main reason is that from 0-100 km/h engine works on about 500-600 rpm higher revs than before so that "torque hole" between 2800-3000 rpm is quickly avoided cause at 30 km/h engine is already at 3600 rpm

Overall improvements are absolutely fantastic - Fuoco's throttle is much more controllable at low speed than before, acceleration is amazing, engine now sounds much "healthier" while speeding and all improvements ends at about 100 km/h after everything is like before so it didn't loose any of top speed.

My only conclusion ( from my point of view ) that this is perfect setup for my taste/weight

And there's few cons (but little ones):
- didn't notice significant improvements on engine braking after releasing throttle but it suddenly (braking) disengaged at about 20 km/h like someone manually press clutch.
- on slippery road rider must be much easier with throttle

Overall - perfect, absolutely fantastic and cheap (about 50 USD in total) performance upgrade

Sounds like a good report! Have you seen gas mileage changes?

with 16 gram you should be in the same ball park as my 6 roller Mustang conversion

Piaggio original 8x21.5 g = 172 g

Mustang conversion 6x21.5 g = 129 g
Malossi 8x16 g = 128 g
Polini 8x16 g = 128 g
Malossi 8x15 g = 120 g
Polini 8x15 g = 120 g
Dr.Pulley 8x15 g = 120 g
Polini 8x14 g = 112 g

I would be interested if you had similar measurements as I had with my 6 roller conversion

External inline image provided by member with no explanatory text

you should be now more in the 4000 to 6000 rpm band if you go full throttle at speeds below 80 km/h

speed - 8 rollers - 6 rollers - 4 rollers
020 - 2100 rpm - not measured - 3000 rpm
040 - 3000 rpm - not measured - 4000 rpm
060 - 3700 rpm - 4000 rpm - 4500 rpm
080 - 4500 rpm - 4500 rpm - 5000 rpm
100 - 5200 rpm - 5200 rpm - 5500 rpm
120 - 6000 rpm - 6000 rpm - 6000 rpm
140 - 7000 rpm - 7000 rpm - 7000 rpm
160 - 8000 rpm - 8000 rpm - 8000 rpm

0-60=6.5 sec
0-80=8.5 sec
0-100 ca.12 sec

If you measure in miles, divide speed by 1.6

Yes, I have similar results like yours, +/- 100 rpm

if you have your transmission open the next time, remove 2 rollers for testing, and you should have pretty much the same effect as I have with the 4 roller Colt conversion.

The result should be like this:
acceleration - 8 rollers - 6 rollers - 4 rollers
0- 60 km/h - 7.00 sec - 6.5 sec - 6.5 sec
0- 80 km/h - 9.50 sec - 8.5 sec - 7.5 sec
0-100 km/h - 14.5 sec - 12 sec - 10.3 sec
