I sold my BMW R1100s a year ago and haven't been on a bike since. It took 10/12 hrs to get my red scoot running....now I'm ready to tackle the blue. I know almost zero about Vespas but have been reading and wrenching.... My p125x w/a 150 kit does 50mph with my 230# ass on it. Pretty quick off the line will easily pull the front tire and shifting into 2nd or 3rd will pop the front end. I have a NIB sito pipe I may put on it???? Not looking for speed so I may keep it stock. Both scoots sat for 10yrs and I had to replace a bit of electrical, rebuild fuel tanks...replace anything fuel related. I put 50 miles on the scoot and had a blast!

Welcome to the club man. I sold a Triumph Bonneville to fund a Rally 200 purchase a few years back. The 10 inch tires and suspension are great - make you feel like you're going 40-50% faster than on a full sized bike.

I love the square side view mirrors on the blue scooter, very '80's.
