Very Sad, pray for his family.

Very sad indeed for both victim's families. Even tho thee other one occurred in '05 my thought's and prayers go out to both. Very surprising that an ER person rides. Usually there the ones who give out the lectures.

I despise people who do shit like that to prove a point. It's Total BS.

Very sad... what's with all of the Boston scooter accidents lately? It seems like I've heard at least 2 from the area in a very short time.

I'm surprised there aren't far more. As a refugee from the Boston area, I can attest to the fact that in Boston, driving is a combative sport, much like cage boxing. A scooter in Boston traffic is like a lapdog at a pitbull picnic...an hors d'ouevre!

Yes, Boston traffic is pretty wild. I rented a car there over the summer and you have to be very aggressive to get around. And I'm used to the freeways in/around LA.

Yep, just one of several scooter-related incedents here recently. A couple were actually murders of people on scooters, there was the attempted scooter-jacking of Olympic gold medalist Jenny Thompson, now this...

It's a jungle here. Very sad news.
