Maybe I didn't learn all the "conventions" of iPad use, but when I reply to a post on MV or elsewhere, particularly when quoting another poster, the box which has the original post is exceptionally hard for me to navigate within its confines in order to get to the bottom of the previous post.

I have to futz with the cursor, placing it at the bottom most portion of that box, and then using the delete key to advance the hidden text "upward" into view....

Can someone advise me what Im doing wrong? Every time I visit the Genius Bar I end up dragging something expensive home...

Experts?

It's not super easy, but there is a better way: bring up the keyboard (by tapping in the text area) and then tap and hold your finger against the text. A little magnifying glass will pop up. Now drag your finger to the bottom edge of the text-editing box and the text will scroll upward.

A native edition of MV for iPad (still in the works) will make this a little bit easier, but only because the text will be sized more appropriately for the screen.

Thats a good workaround....I can get used to it.

Thanks for the tip!

Thank you, thank, thank you!! Works like a charm on my new IPhone, and likely would have worked on my IPod Touch. I can't tell you how many times I abandoned posts on the Touch because I couldn't navigate in that box.
