Versatility was the deciding factor in my decision to buy this utility trailer instead of another type. Rated 200 lbs. capacity for a motorcycle. Not as elegant as others but it can carry alot. I avoid driving the car if possible in the summer months so I'll take this to the grocery store for a months supply of food and twice a month I buy 150 lbs of bagged pig food. I hardly notice it behind me when loaded and handles corners just fine.

If i could get a yard and a half of garbage in it I would go to the dump as well.

I use a 500 to tow Harley's...
Guys all this talk about towing capacity, single wheel, dual wheels, etc... The Piaggio designers/Engineers/Corp. have seen pictures of my set up and the first thing they say is "I would never do that" lol.... Yet I do it on a daily basis. I upped the rear wheel to a larger wheel (see thread about putting a bigger tire on the back, not the car tire thread, the other one...) And I use a x3 rail Stand up trailer (with x2 wheels). Bottom line, I don't notice any braking issues, acceleration issues, but... I am faced with the bearing issue and waiting for the dealer to fix it. Some idiot driver backed into the trailer a couple weeks back so my Tupperware is being replaced (she put the bike on it's side by backing into the trailer, and she kept going...IDIOT!!!

I LOVE MY SET UP!!

I am still wondering why the Euro laws don't allow a scooter to pull a one wheeled trailer? It must be obvious, but I am missing it.....
maybe its the weight factor behind a smaller scoot when it is stopping and the trailer would want to fall over.
But on a big scoot, and the MP3 in particular, I don't see why not.

I've had a Unigo trailer for 10 years, but have yet to pull it behind a scooter. I use it to carry all our camping gear for 2 people, maybe 100# of weight + the trailer, which is very light. On a MC I find it's only thing that's different is having enough brake to stop it when necessary. With it's 1 wheel it's tongue weight is more so your rear shocks need to be up to it's requirements. But as far as handling, it's as if the Unigo is part of your bike/scooter. The Unigo leans with your rig. 8) There is no way a Unigo will ever jack knife. The tilt-lock on a MP3 is very helpfull when stopping w/a Unigo, as if you have to put your bike/scooter on it's sidestand, then the weight of the loaded Unigo cannot be ignored. Clown emoticon When the trailer is empty it's no big deal.

I love reading all these posts, they're interesting, informative, and fun. Took alot of screen-photos of your trailer setup maksor, looks amazing-no idea if anything like that's available here in Oz, but sure hope so. 😊👍
